Art Therapy Camp in the CarpathiansCAMPBERI + BEIT DAN 2025

Amid the peace and beauty of the Carpathian Mountains, an art therapy camp organized by CAMPBERI and BEIT DAN became a true haven of warmth and tranquility for Jewish families from Ukraine.

It was a time when:
• parents could pause, relax, and restore their inner balance;
• children could play, create, and feel safe and cared for;
• families could spend time together — laughing, drawing, talking about meaningful things, and simply being close to one another.

The silence of the mountains, the fresh air, and the art therapy practices helped participants reconnect — with themselves, with nature, and with each other.

WHAT WAS THE PROGRAM?

🧩 Art therapy sessions for adults and children.
Under the guidance of experienced psychologists and art therapists, participants explored their emotions through creativity — painting, working with clay, making collages, playing with colors and shapes. This helped them release tension, express what is hard to put into words, and find inner calm

🎭 Workshops on creativity and self-expression.

Families created paintings, souvenirs, amulets, and other art objects that became symbols of warmth, strength, and support. These activities not only nurtured creativity but also brought generations together — children and parents creating side by sid

🤝 Family activities and games for teamwork and trust.

Each day included interactive games and exercises that helped families experience the power of mutual support, learn to listen to one another, and act as a team. Through laughter and play, families rediscovered the simple joy of being togeth

At the end of each day, we gathered by the fire or in a cozy room — singing, sharing words of thanks, laughing, and simply being together.
These evenings became the heart of the camp — moments filled with unity, love, and ligh
