PSYCHOLOGICAL REHABILITATION

War leaves a mark not only on the body but also on the soul. The greatest impact is felt by children and mothers who experience loss, forced displacement, and uncertainty about the future. In these difficult times, psychological support is not a luxury but a vital necessity for restoring inner balance.
Children are particularly sensitive to change, even if they cannot always express their emotions in words. Anxiety, sleep disturbances, withdrawal, or excessive emotional reactions can all be signs of stress.
Mothers, while trying to be a pillar of strength for their children, often neglect their own emotional needs, leading to exhaustion and burnout. That’s why we create a safe space for healing and recovery, where both adults and children can receive professional support and guidance.
We help families not only cope with the consequences of trauma but also find inner strength and resources to move forward.

Psychological rehabilitation helps reduce stress, discover inner resources, and restore a sense of stability.

For children, this happens through art therapy, interactive methods, and group activities, allowing them to express emotions freely and feel safe. For mothers, it includes individual consultations, where they can share their experiences and receive emotional support.

At BERI, we recognize the importance of this work and engage experienced psychologists who support both children and their mothers. Our goal is not only to help families overcome the effects of stress but also to restore emotional balance, so they can once again experience joy—even in the most challenging circumstances.

“I want to express my deepest gratitude to Beri Foundation for their support and guidance for my family!

My daughter and I were invited to the family camp #CAMPBERI, where we regained strength, energy, and emotional resources. Most importantly, we started working with psychologists! This support has been invaluable—helping me manage my emotional state and improve my relationship with my daughter.

My child is also receiving therapy from a children’s psychologist, which, as a mother, means so much to me. The move from Bakhmut and my daughter’s health challenges have brought significant changes to our lives.

After receiving psychological support, we now understand each other better and have grown closer. I have begun to see circumstances from a different perspective, and most importantly, I have learned how to recharge myself, care for my emotional well-being, and prioritize my own needs!”

My son also went through career guidance and a personal consultation with a psychologist regarding his future profession. He received incredibly useful recommendations that will help him make an informed choice.”
